The compact is a partnership agreement that sets out shared principles and guidelines for effective partnership working between Sutton Council and the voluntary and community sector. The Compact stands for better partnership working and creating better outcomes for individuals and local communities.

Annual events are held where priorities for action are agreed and then a series of task and finish groups operate throughout the year to develop the interventions to respond to the issues identified.


In 2019 we hosted an Annual Sutton Compact Event, which was held on 15 July at The Salvation Army Sutton in which 25 partners attended. 

The event provided an opportunity for the voluntary and community sector to hear from the London Borough of Sutton on their Outcome Based Commissioning Review Process and to have discussions on how the voluntary and community sector can support the review process and co-design the development of commissioning strategies and processes.
