Small Charites, Big Impact!

Small Charity Week is a national celebration of the vital role small charities play in communities across the UK. 

This year’s theme was “Small Charities. Big Impact.”, the week helped shine a light on the difference small charities make every day, often with limited resources but a passion and knowledge of the communities they support.

Throughout the week, we worked in partnership with easyfundraising and The National Lottery Community Fund to host a series of 1-2-1 funding surgeries. These informal sessions gave charities and local groups the chance to explore funding opportunities, ask questions, and receive expert advice.

We also featured some local charities below and our social media channels to help showcase some of the fantastic small charities working across the Borough. By sharing their stories and highlighting the amazing work they do, we aimed to help raise their profile and encourage more people to recognise, support and connect with local small charities and community groups.
