We support our members by providing ongoing support and providing regular information and resources.  We also support all the wider sector through various projects and pieces of work. 

Supporting Organisations to Demonstrate and Increase Their Impact 

During 2025 Sutton Council launched a grant for the Charity, Community and Faith Sector.  The Council were wanted to work with the sector to develop a number of prevention pilots in the Borough.

There is an increasing need, bearing increasing demand in social care and health to look at what we can do differently to better manage ill health and the need for support shifting the balance to being more 'proactive from reactive' putting in services and treatment, keeping people healthy and well for longer, avoiding homelessness, maintaining independence. Critically, such outcomes also improve the experience of individuals and their families.

12 projects were successful (6 projects adult social care and 6 housing projects)

In addition to financial support, we worked closely with funded groups to strengthen project design, delivery, and impact measurement. This has included:

• Co-facilitating workshops to support project planning and collaboration.
• Providing tailored advice and guidance throughout project development.
• Helping organisations map the user journey, enabling them to better understand participants' experiences and outcomes.
• Supporting groups to identify and evidence their Social Return on Investment (SROI), demonstrating the wider social value created through their work.

This approach ensures that funded projects not only deliver meaningful activities for local people but also build the capacity of organisations to measure, communicate, and maximise their impact.
