THE PERCENTERS. is a registered UK charity supporting young adults aged 18-26 across Sutton, Surrey and surrounding London Boroughs with accessible, inclusive mental health and wellbeing opportunities.
We were created to address a gap in support for young adults who often find themselves too old for youth services but not engaged with traditional adult mental health services. Our mission is to reduce isolation, improve wellbeing and create spaces where young adults can connect, learn and support one another without stigma or judgement.
Our activities include wellbeing workshops, peer support opportunities, community events, group walks, coffee meet-ups, board game socials, online wellbeing sessions and educational programmes that make mental health information accessible, relatable and practical.
We work collaboratively with local organisations, healthcare providers, community groups and social prescribing networks to create supportive pathways into community-based wellbeing support. Our partnerships include local NHS services, Talking Therapies teams, community organisations and voluntary sector partners.
Everything we do is designed to be welcoming, low-pressure and preventative. We believe support should be available before someone reaches crisis point and that meaningful connection can have a powerful impact on wellbeing.
As a charity founded by young adults, for young adults, we place lived experience, authenticity and community at the heart of everything we do. Through connection, education and support, we aim to help young people build confidence, resilience and a stronger sense of belonging within their community.
