We have received notification that the community engagement budget has been finalised for 2026/27 and Sutton has been allocated £13,744. The deadline for Community Action Sutton to receive completed application forms is 12noon on Wednesday 22nd April 2025. Completed applications should be sent to enquiries@communityactionsutton.org.uk
Looking ahead, the 2026/27 Community Engagement Programme will continue to support existing mechanisms while they transition to a new framework in line with the Mayor’s commitment to strengthen community scrutiny of policing.
In line with the Mayor’s Police and Crime Plan 2025-2029, projects should continue to support the Safer Neighbourhood Board priorities and core functions , while also aligning with the key priorities set out in the Mayor’s plan which can be found at The Mayor's Police and Crime Plan 2025-2029 | London City Hall
We would encourage you to submit projects that support the following Police and Crime Plan priorities:
- Reducing violence and criminal exploitation (including violence against women and girls);
- Building safer and more confident communities; and
- Improving support for victims of crime.
