Most recently we worked with Yourspace Sutton, a community-focused hub and award-winning community garden based at Seears Park Nursery in Sutton. The charity has worked hard to transform a once neglected council nursery into an open, inclusive space where local people of all ages and backgrounds can connect with nature, learn new skills, and take part in activities that promote wellbeing and social inclusion. Yourspace offers horticultural and therapeutic workshops, school visits, social activities, events, and volunteer opportunities, and it also hosts community gatherings and supports local sustainable initiatives.
Our practical advice and guidance helped them to understand the different legal structures, enabling them to make informed choices. We also carried out funding searches meeting the needs of charity ensuring they were applying for most relevant funding.
We’re pleased to have been able to support this fantastic charity to help them grow and continue providing a positive impact for the local community.
