In 2025 we were pleased to be working in partnership with Volunteer Centre Sutton for Trustees’ Week.  We provided a range of support for charities, community and faith groups in Sutton. Together we shared trustee volunteering opportunities and offered support to charities around governance, including supporting new and existing trustees.   

If your charity or community group is looking for Trustees, Volunteer Centre Sutton can help. They can support you to promote trustee roles through their extensive Volunteer Hub.  You can learn more about the hub on their website including how it works and how to submit a volunteer role.

On Wednesday 5th November we held an online session to support new and existing trustee to help increase their knowledge around all things governance. The free 2-hour online session covered the different trustee roles and responsibilities, board structures, the legal side to Trusteeship and helped trustees to understand charity finances.

We also shared information and resources throughout the week via our social media channels.
