Small Charity Week 2025

Small Charity Week (23rd to 28th June) is a campaign to empower the UK’s small charities to have an even greater impact on society, and to address the challenges they face.

This year, the focus is on financial resilience – helping small charities stay open, funded and connected.

Throughout the week we’ll be offering practical support to Sutton’s Charities and community groups.

Starting on Monday 23th June we will be running online 1-2-1 meet the funder sessions with local funder Beddington Community Benefit Fund. These sessions will last for 30 minutes and booking is required. If your charity has an idea for a project that will help give back to the community, contact us and arrange a 1-2-1 with a grants officer to find out if your project meets their criteria.

On Tuesday 24th June we will be running online 1-2-1 sessions with easyfundraising. Learn more about the platform and how it can help you to access unrestricted funds with the help of your supporters – for free. Booking required, contact Sara@communityactionsutton.org.uk to book a slot.

On Tuesday 24th and Wednesday 25th June – our Head of Finance will be offering in-person 1-2-1 finance surgeries. This will be an opportunity for you to book an hour slot to discuss all things ‘finance’. Whether you need support to set up digital accounts, or find out more about the legal side of charity finance, we can help to support you. Booking required, contact Dun@communityactionsutton.org.uk to book a slot.

On Thursday 26th June our Head of Partnerships, Impact and Equalities Razia Sattar will be offering 1-2-1 funding and governance support sessions.
